Join us to hear author and pastor Colby Martin present “Not An Oxymoron: Why LGBTQ Affirming Christianity Makes Sense,” a talk based on his book, UnClobber, which tackles the Bible verses most commonly used to exclude the LGBTQ+ community.

For many Christians, especially those raised in more conservative environments, these verses and these theological perspectives have been used to hold people back from being inclusive and supportive of their friends and loved ones. For those who identify as LGBTQ+, these verses and theological perspectives have been the reason why they may have left their faith or struggled to re-engage the Bible. A talk like this, that responsibly handles these passages, can be a pivotal moment.

The presentation will be about 60 minutes with a 30 minutes Q & A.
